Three spots created to celebrate Boeing’s 100th anniversary. From the historical, 1916 B&W plane to the 787 Dreamliner, Boeing products come alive, celebrating 100 years of technological triumphs in Space, Defense, and Commercial travel.
Process
Another collaboration with The Loop production company. This time my task was to develop a system used to make a transition from animated 2D blueprints to photoreal CG airplanes and spaceships. This "data layer" ended up being used in more than 50% of shots helping to define a distinctive spot look. The beauty of the procedural approach helped me to reuse the setup created for one shot on multiple others with minimal tweaks, significantly reducing production time.
